Today, the EA SPORTS UFC 3 beta officially became available to everyone on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Every punch, kick, block, and counter has been recaptured and rebuilt on cutting-edge animation tech to look and feel life-like and responsive, delivering the most strategic, competitive fighting experience in franchise history. Some beta players claim that the game is operating on a pay-to-win model whereby you can buy packs of cards to improve your fighters, and ultimately gain advantage.
Neither Ultimate Team nor loot boxes are new to EA SportsUFC, and although their usage does seem to have changed a little most reports suggest it's actually slightly easier now to earn loot boxes by just playing the game.
EA Sports UFC 3 also introduces the new G.O.A.T. Career Mode where - for the first time - the choices made throughout your career impact your path to greatness.
EA promises to continue fine-tuning the game with data from the beta, so time will tell how different the game is upon release. Our matchmaking logic takes fighter attributes, moves, boosts, and perks into account and prioritizes matching players with similarly upgraded fighters in addition to player skill.
EA Sports UFC 3 will be available worldwide on February 2, 2018 for Xbox One and PS4. Champion Fighter item choices include former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, former UFC women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson or UFC middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre.
